Ghost Rock Wines was established in 2001 by Cate and Colin Arnold on Tasmania’s Cradle Coast, just east of Devonport. Their son Justin and his wife Alicia joined the business in 2015 and took full ownership in 2017. Today, Ghost Rock is one of the defining producers of North West Tasmania, with approximately 27 hectares of high-density vineyards overlooking Bass Strait. Pinot Noir is the estate’s principal variety, supported by Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Meunier. The estate grows, vinifies and bottles its wines on site, with a strong focus on cool-climate expression, sustainable viticulture and site-specific vineyard work. Its portfolio spans three distinct ranges: Estate, Single Vineyard and Supernatural — the latter exploring small-batch, wild-fermented, unfined, unfiltered and low-SO2 wines.
