Established in 2000 in Khanguet, Grombalia, Domaine Neferis occupies a historic Tunisian winegrowing area where vines were first planted by French settlers in 1878. Its name recalls the ancient Carthaginian fortified settlement of Neferis, reflecting the region's Phoenician and Roman heritage. The estate covers approximately 200 hectares of vineyards, with sandy-loam and clay-limestone soils shaped by Mediterranean influences and marked day-to-night temperature variation. Modern temperature-controlled vinification and carefully selected French oak barrels allow the winery to produce wines that combine Mediterranean ripeness with freshness and structure.
