Founded in 2013 by two friends with a shared passion for great wine, Roebuck Estates is an English sparkling wine producer based near Petworth in West Sussex. The estate takes its name from the roe deer that roam the surrounding countryside. Its vineyards extend across West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent, with carefully selected sites offering different soils, elevations and microclimates. Roebuck specialises exclusively in vintage sparkling wines crafted from estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Traditional-method winemaking, selective hand harvesting and extended bottle ageing contribute to wines characterised by freshness, fine texture and layered complexity. Since its first commercial release in 2019, the estate has received international recognition for its Classic Cuvée, Blanc de Noirs and Rosé de Noirs, establishing a distinctive expression of English sparkling wine.
