Deux Frères (Klein Graniet) – Heritage & Philosophy

Founded in 2008, Deux Frères carries forward a proud family legacy of winemaking, built on the foundation left by Hester and Marc Wiehe, former owners of the renowned L’Avenir Wine Estate. Each wine reflects the unique Stellenbosch terroir — an authentic expression of sun, soil, and craftsmanship.

In 2025, the estate introduced a new label, “Klein Graniet”, symbolising both the compact size of the family farm (“klein” meaning small in Afrikaans) and the granitic soils (“graniet”) in which the vines thrive. This new identity highlights their ongoing commitment to producing wines of exceptional character, integrity, and quality — wines that truly speak for themselves.
