Founded in 2022 by the Stone family, Stones + Thunder is a small Margaret River producer focused on single-vineyard wines from Wilyabrup. The range is sourced from the Wagtail Vineyard and centres on three classic Margaret River expressions: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Bordeaux-style Cabernet blend. The wines are shaped by Wilyabrup's ironstone-influenced soils, maritime conditions and careful vineyard selection. Stones + Thunder combines detailed vineyard work with precise, low-intervention winemaking to produce wines with concentration, freshness and clear regional identity. Despite being a young producer, the winery has already attracted significant international recognition, including a place in the IWSC Top 50 Wine Producers Worldwide in 2025.
