Kirnbauer’s flagship Blaufränkisch-led cuvée, combining black cherry, cranberry, dark chocolate, spice and silky tannins.
Das Phantom has been K+K Kirnbauer’s flagship since 1987. The 2024 blend is led by Blaufränkisch and complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Fermentation in stainless steel, malolactic fermentation in barrique and 18 months in French oak create a powerful yet elegant red with excellent ageing potential.

Das Phantom is the wine most closely associated with K+K Kirnbauer and demonstrates the estate’s blending philosophy: regional Blaufränkisch provides energy and identity, while Bordeaux varieties and Syrah contribute depth, texture and complexity.
