Overview

A spicy, full-bodied Carménère with ripe cherry, black pepper, paprika, tobacco and dark chocolate.
Kamnik Carménère 2021 is a rare North Macedonian expression of the variety, grown at high vine density and harvested by hand. Oak-tank vinification and 12 months in French and American oak create a supple, peppery red with southern warmth.

Why this wine matters

Carménère is rarely encountered in North Macedonia. Kamnik's version combines the grape's characteristic pepper and dark fruit with a warm-climate richness and polished oak-aged texture.
