The Zulal Voskehat 2022 is an elegant and deeply expressive Armenian white wine made from 100% Voskehat, Armenia’s most important indigenous white grape. Hand-harvested from pre-phylloxera vines in the high-altitude limestone and volcanic soils of Vayots Dzor, this wine embodies the purity and identity of a grape that dates back thousands of years.
Founded in 2017 by winemaker Aimee Keushguerian, Zulal (“pure water” in Armenian) is dedicated to reviving forgotten native grape varieties — and Voskehat stands at the heart of that mission.
Fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and texture, this wine opens with aromas of ripe peach blossom, apricot, alpine herbs, and a hint of marzipan. The palate is vibrant and crisp, showcasing bright acidity, fine texture, and a refreshing mineral finish shaped by the region’s limestone and volcanic terrain.
