Description
There is a reason why this wine is rated amongst the top 1% of the wines globally. You can really feel the terroir in this wine, the clay like smoothness in the tannins is reminiscent of the area where the vine was grown.
I love how the chocolate and the tobacco emerges from this wine and does not cease to please!
The clay soil of Bela Voda and the typical Mediterranean climate, perfectly suit the varieties of Vranec and Plavec, a blend of which this wine is made. Aged in new French barrique barrels for 15 months, exhibiting exquisite aromas of black fruit and cocoa along with perfectly smooth tannins, this wine captivates you with its rich, full body and fruity structure.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour : Deep ruby-red .
Bouquet : Classy aromas and flavours of crème de cassis, liquorice, graphite and floral nuances
Palate : Full-bodied, elegant and nicely focused profile on the palate. Still showing the hedonistic, sweetly fruited slant of
the estate, it has solid concentration, ripe tannin and impressive length
Food pairing : Venison in wild berry sauce pheasant or wild boar leg. Alternatively in Singapore you can pair it with BBQ pork or roast duck
