Yet another brilliant representation of the Vranec varietal.  The grape for this wine comes from the famous Ovche Pole vineyard.

This wine is matured in American oak for 16 months which gives the wine its complex characteristics and smooths out the strong tannins making for a well-rounded and complex wine.

Like all Vranec wines, this is a full-bodied wine with medium to high tannins that are smooth on the palate.

This wine cant be stored for long periods of time giving it ample opportunity to develop the tertiary characteristics.

The color is intense and almost impenetrable granite color

Bouquet

On the nose, expect the characteristic black fruit aromas followed by secondary aromas of spices. Tertiary bouquet is expressed by way of coffee, cooked blackberry, sherry, and dried dark fruits.

Palate

This is a dry full-bodied wine with soft tannins. The flavors follow the smell of this wine. It is intense with a long finish.

The wine pairs well with red meats, smoked chicken and matured cheese
