Maturation Process

The wine is matured 16 months in American oak barrels which intensifies the tastes and adds complexity and wine attributes.

Appearance

The color is intense and almost impenetrable granite color

Bouquet

On the nose, expect the characteristic black fruit aromas followed by secondary aromas of spices. Tertiary bouquet is expressed by way of coffee, cooked blackberry, sherry, and dried dark fruits.

Palate

This is a dry full-bodied wine with soft tannins. The flavors follow the smell of this wine. It is intense with a long finish.

The wine pairs well with red meats, smoked chicken and matured cheese
