The Ezimit Vranec 2018 is a young dry red wine that showcases the grape’s vibrant and rich characteristics.
The Vranec grape is the most important grape of North Macedonia accounting for over 50% of the red wine grown in the region. An offspring of the Primitivo grape, young Vranec is known for its light purple colour and strong tannins. This characteristic of the grape makes wines produced from it to pair well with a variety of white and red meats and Nutty hard and fruity cheese.
The wine is deep ruby in appearance, this is characteristic of a young Vranec.
On the nose, expect an aroma of strawberry jam and wild berries
This is a dry wine with medium acidity, high-tannin and a full-body. Expect a long finish with this wine. Like on the nose, you will get a taste of black fruits like Blackberry and Blueberry. Expect some spicy notes of mild black pepper.
